The vault is a unique room. It stores mined Gold, and serves as the universal drop-off point for all Resources. It's size is fixed at 3x3 for normal dungeons, and every Dungeon starts with one. Though it cannot be sold or moved, it can be upgraded.
The vault in the Heart of the Mountain is much larger. It is 17 tiles in size, and the upgrades take up one of those tiles leaving 16 tiles for furniture or gold stacks.
A Vault will only hold 1000 of each basic resource. In order to build a Vault past Level 2 constructing a Storage Room becomes a necessity.
Daily Chest[]
The Daily Chest
The Daily Chest is a chest which appears in the vault of the main dungeon when the player logs in the first time in a day. The chest is available after level 10 and contains different random resources.[1][2] The Daily Chest was removed with the Update from 02.02.2012 and replaced by a Consecutive Login Reward system.[3]
